Maddison Boyling has just completed her fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Media and Communications) at the University of Sydney, majoring in Media Studies and English. She loves writing in all its forms, from reporting to creative writing, PR and blogs, but has a particular passion for book reviews. This review is published in her literary magazine, titled dog-eared, a major project for MECO4117 Critical Practice in Media. Dog-eared takes inspiration from online reading communities, featuring trending books and authors, reporting on the latest literary news and sourcing content, including reviews and creative writing submissions from readers. The magazine includes a book club that features reviews, such as Sally Rooney's Beautiful World, Where Are You. Dog-eared Magazine.
